About MakeTheQR

MakeTheQR turns a spreadsheet into a batch of QR codes - one per table, asset or room - that stay editable after printing and count their own scans on a live page you can share.

Why it exists

MakeTheQR started because the existing options for this were either a spreadsheet nobody could see, or software priced for an organisation rather than a person running one event.

How it works

You create a batch, add codes, and share a link. Everyone watching sees changes as they happen, on any device, without an account. That is the entire product; everything else is in service of those three steps staying fast.

How it is paid for

Directly, by the people who use it. There are no ads on your batches, your data is not sold, and the free plan is a real plan rather than a countdown - it exists because most batches are small, and the ones that grow past it are worth paying for. See pricing for exactly what each plan includes.

What it deliberately does not do

It is not an analytics suite, a batch manager or a CRM. It does one thing - keep a shared, public score - and the moment it starts doing five things, the one-minute setup goes away.
